Material and technical resources
The provision of the educational process with specialized and laboratory equipment for the educational program 6B07311 – “Geodesy and Cartography” currently fully corresponds to modern practices in the field of geodesy and cartography. The software tools of the educational program used by the department are determined based on the professional competencies required for the modern level of specialist training. Monitoring is carried out by the department’s instructors, who conduct classes using the software.
In computer classroom No. 401, 23 specialized HP EliteDesk 800G6 Tower PCs have been installed since 2020. The PCs are equipped with 16 GB of RAM and software for working with AutoCAD, MapInfo, ArcGIS, ERDAS, Photomod, Agisoft Metashape, and QGis.
