Zhanar Omarova – PhD, Head of the Department of Design and Engineering Graphics at L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University, graduate of the Bolashak program (United Kingdom).
Member of the Union of Designers of Kazakhstan and the Royal Incorporation of Architects in Scotland (RIAS).
Her main research interests include urban sustainability, urban design, architectural and design project development. She is the author of publications in international peer-reviewed journals, an active participant in scientific conferences, and a recipient of letters of appreciation for her contribution to education and the development of architectural design.
Her teaching philosophy is based on integrating international experience with Kazakhstani traditions, training young specialists capable of thinking globally and acting locally.
