Educational programmes

Dear colleagues, students and applicants!

We are glad to present you the educational programs of our department in three key areas in the field of design:

1. Graphic Design (6B02120) - a program aimed at building students' skills in creating visual communications, developing branding and advertising materials. Graduates of this program will be able to effectively influence the perception of information using the principles of visual art.
2. Architectural Design (6B02121) is a program that combines architectural concepts and design solutions. Our students learn not only the theory but also the practice of design, allowing them to create unique spaces that harmonize with their surroundings.
3. Design (MA, 7M02121) is a program designed to provide an in-depth study of current trends and technologies in design. Master's graduates will have the opportunity to specialize in a variety of fields and will have the opportunity to participate in and create conceptual research projects that will enable them to influence the future of design and technology.

These programs aim to develop creativity and practical skills, enabling our students to be competitive in the job market. We actively cooperate with scientific and educational organizations, which ensures the relevance of our education and the introduction of modern practices in the learning process.

L.N.Gumilyov Eurasian National University is one of the leading educational institutions of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The Department of Design and Engineering Graphics implements educational programs undergraduate 6B02121-Architectural Design, 6B02120-Graphic Design and graduate 7M02121 - Design. The department is headed by Doctor of Technical Sciences, Academician of National Academy of Engineering and Transport, Professor Baidabekov Auez Kenesbekovich.

Currently, the department "Design and Engineering Graphics" prepares specialists in the areas: "Architectural design" and "Graphic design". Graduates of the two areas receive an academic degree of Bachelor of Arts. Graduates have the opportunity to earn a master's degree in art history by enrolling in a master's degree program in scientific and pedagogical direction. During their studies students and master students take part in international, national and city competitions, exhibitions of graduation projects. Graduates of the department are highly demanded specialists in the labor market in the field of design.  

Most teachers of the department: Honored Architects of the RK, members of the International Academy of Informatization, a member of the Academy of Arts of the RK, members of the Union of Designers of the RK, members of the Union of Architects of the RK, honored cultural worker of the RK, "Best teacher of the university" and the owner of four grants.
