On the Open Classes Conducted at the Department of Construction in the 2nd Semester of the 2025–2026 Academic Year

According to the approved schedule of open classes, on February 13, 2026, at the Department of Construction of the Faculty of Architecture and Civil Engineering, Associate Professor Turashev Akzhaiyk Seitkozhanovich conducted an open class for groups B074-7329-24-01 and B074-7329-24-03 in the discipline “Design of Industrial and Prefabricated Buildings” on the topic “Structural Solutions of Industrial Buildings with Steel Frames.”
The purpose of the class was to develop students’ systematic knowledge of the principles of designing and constructing industrial buildings with steel frames, as well as the design features of typical beam elements.
During the class, students examined the main structural schemes of steel frames, the structural behavior of columns, girders, trusses, and beam elements within a spatial structural system. Issues related to cross-section selection, ensuring stiffness and stability, designing joints, and compliance with current regulatory requirements were analyzed. Students actively participated in the discussion of design solutions and practical examples.
The session included theoretical presentation supported by visual materials, analysis of structural schemes of real facilities, discussion of typical design solutions, and professional dialogue.
